Authorized Drivers Explained
Only an Authorized Driver may operate the rental vehicle. The Agreement defines that group as the renter, an additional driver listed on the Agreement, or another person treated as authorized under applicable law; each Authorized Driver must have a valid operator's license.

Understand the boundary
Permission between friends or family members does not by itself make someone an Authorized Driver under the Agreement. The driver must fit the Agreement's definition and applicable law.
The Agreement contains an unresolved minimum-age placeholder. This guide does not publish that placeholder as policy. Ask STARS to confirm the current minimum-age and driver-eligibility rules for the requested vehicle and rental.
